50 years in a woman’s life is a powerful milestone, often marked by wisdom, experience, and resilience. Yet, in a society that can be both sexist and ageist, there’s a lingering stigma attached to not being ‘young’ anymore.
Now in its fourth year, the 50 Over 50 franchise of Forbes Women Magazine compiles a list of 50 women over 50 who inspire, are courageous in their decisions and achieve great success and go through life with the motto that it is never too late to develop new passions and careers in any field – be it professional, sporting, social or artistic. This year among those celebrated by the US edition of Forbes Women were Danielle Steel, Anna Wintour, Melinda French Gates, Patti Smith, Missy Elliott, Brooke Shields and Celine Dion.
It’s such an honour to make it to the List of 50 Women Over 50 in the latest Polish edition of Forbes Women magazine and to be listed alongside 49 amazing, strong, and inspiring Polish women.
To quote from Michelle Yeoh’ Oscar acceptance speech ‘ladies, don’t let anybody tell you you’re past your prime.’
